People will always be searching for something new, or different, or better, or cheaper. Innovation is all about looking at your systems and improving those systems.
Quantification is all about knowing your sales, marketing, customer service, financial, budgetary and strategic numbers.
Lastly, only when you implement orchestration in your business can you start to add massive value by ensuring that everyone does the same thing to the same high standard each and every time.

Did you know that 95% of small business owners don’t fully understand the information from in their accounts and even if they could, the information that the accounts contain is often 18 months old? More seriously, most business owners don’t get monthly management accounts and they can’t read a balance sheet.
In short, you may need a better understanding of the financial side of your business. The question is – How do you ensure that your business stays financially strong? You can’t just hire an FD and forget it. You must learn the tools to understand and manage your cash, not just your bottom line.

If there is one fundamental skill that I can recommend that you do in order to grow your business, then it’s this – Raise your Game! Let’s face facts – There are three games that you are playing in business.
There is the operational game. This is where you do the work required by the customer. The operational work of the business is often done really well by the business because this is what the owner of the business loves to do and he/she is good at. After all, that is why they started this business.
Then there is the financial game. This is all about understanding and improving the numbers. Understanding your profit and loss intimately. Understanding how to read a balance sheet and a set of accounts. Understanding the profitability of each of your products, or services.
